A wild Clefairy appears!

"What!? Wait, you have got to be kidding me!" Dave was having a less than pleasant day. It was his eleventh birthday, meaning he was one year away from being able to start a Pokemon journey. That might be fun maybe, but that wasn't for today. Instead, today he got a ton of homework from his parents, because he had to be sure he knew what was going on in the world before leaving on a journey in a year. Well, that was all in fine, but turned out there were a lot of books to read. He didn't remember any of the other kids reading any of these books before becoming trainers. He had been given a huge pile of books to read that he could just barely carry. So, he had been carrying them home from the library, when he had tripped, sent most of the books flying into the air. He had gathered most of them easily, but one of the books.

Well, there was some rather tall grass on the edge of town, and one of the books had landed in that grass. He had been told; Never go in the tall grass. Wild Pokemon would appear and attack, but the book was on that end. So, he stood on the very edge, reaching his arm as far as possible, just to try and retrieve the book. Yet he still couldn't reach. Really, just one step and he'd be able to get it, but he really didn't feel like tempting fate.

So, he had retrieved a stick, a nice long stick, and with that, he could just barely reach the book. However, he slipped trying to fetch it, and wound up pushing the book farther into the tall grass. So next, he had received a baseball bat. This was just long enough, with him stretching his arm out as far as possible, he was able to get the edge of the book, and being much more careful dragged it to the edge of the grass and picked it up.

As he did, the cover opened up of the book opened up. Like many old books that hadn't been checked out from the library, each page was covered with dust. Dave sneezed, nearly dropping the book in the process. He had held onto I though, and was safe now!

Except, he noticed that the very end of his shoes had reached slightly into the tall grass when he had sneezed. Well, nothing had happened. He had enough time to breathe a sight of relief and start to turn, before a wild clefairy popped out of the grass, stood in front of him, and looked like it was ready to fight.

Not only was he going to get beaten up by a pokemon, he was about go get beaten up by what looked like a pink stuffed animal. He made a mental note to tell people he fell down the stairs as the library when this was over.

"I don't suppose," Dave started. "That you could just let me go, I'm not a trainer after all."

The wild clefairy released one of the cutest sounds he had ever heard, before immediately moving its fingers back and forth as if to a rhythm.

Wild Clefairy used Metronome.

"Guess that's a no." Dave decided now would be a good time to run. He had actually gotten as far as Metronome in the list of Pokemon moves today, and from what he understood, just about anything could happen. Really, it would have been much more fun to have a pokemon here or something. Going on an adventure would be much more fun than studying and running.

Dave turned to run, right as a light was released from the clefairy waggling its fingers. Dave tripped over his own shoes in the flash, landing flat on his chest. Had the Metronome just used flash? Well, that wasn't too bad. Dave linked his eyes until he was able to see again, looking back over his shoulder at the clefairy. He was technically out of the tall grass now, so maybe it would stop attacking. That thought only gave him temporary relief though, as he suddenly realized something was very off when he looked back. He could see his shoes still in the tall grass, looking as if they had been ripped open, giving him an indication of what he had tripped over. How that had happened? He was still a little confused, until he saw his bare feet, though bare and feet might have been the wrong words. They weren't bare, as they were quite clearly covered in black fur, and they looked a lot more like paws than human feet. If that weren't confusing enough, as he pushed himself up off the ground, he discovered a metal spike was sticking out of his chest.

"Oh, that can't be good." Dave spoke, examining himself. He also started wondering since when had he been wearing a sleeveless shirt? It was definitely, not his normal shirt, it was yellow, fuzzy, and had a hole in it for that metal spike that was sticking out of his. His, pants had changed too. They were a bit more poofy now, and blue. He was pretty sure his pants had been black a moment ago.  Pulling up the leg, he could see the fur from his paws, sprea dup his leg, changing to a blue color farther up. This also made him alert to the changes to his hands, which were now pawlike, but had metal spikes sticking out of the back of them. Aside from that, they were covered in black fur, that became blue further up on his arm. He felt something else, twinge in his body, and a moment later, he could physically see his face push out into a muzzle, and reaching a hand up, he felt his ears move up the side of his head, becoming longer and pointed. Lastly, his hair changed, becoming longer and separated into a strange style he had no idea how to describe.

"Well, that was unexpected." A high pitched voice spoke.

"What, just happened to me!?" Dave spoke, his voice sounded a little lower pitched now though, and a oment later, he realized it was the clefairy that had spoken.

"Well... I think the Metronome used Wish, or Curse or something.... Um, what were you thinking about when it hit?" The clefairy asked.

"Just about what...." Dave stopped . "Wait you did this to me!" Dave struck a fighting pose, he wasn't really sure what was going on, but by now he had figured out he was a pokemon. The whole being furry, and able to understand the clefairy made that obvious. Part of him felt he should probably be freaking out about this about now, but there would be time for that after he finished being angry. "Change me back now!"

"Well.... I don't really know how I did it in the first place." The clefairy replied. "And oh look at the time, and you're already out of the tall grass, guess we'll have to do this some other time, bye!" Before it turned, and fled into the grass.

"Hey! Wait! But!" Dave held out a hand, not sure what had just exactly transpired. So, he was a pokemon now, something to do with a wish or a curse? This was getting a bit confusing, he didn't even know what species he was. Well, that would be easy to fix. He picked up one of the books he had dropped, it was an encyclopedia, with different pokemon pictures and the names of all the species. He flipped through half the pages before arriving in the L's, and found the pokemon who's appearance matched his own.

"Lucario?" He asked outloud. Well, there could be worse things, he could still walk upright, had the use of hands, was roughly the same size. He would just need to make sure not to sleep on his stomach from now on, that spike might get painful. As far as people getting turned into pokemon went, he probably  came out ahead. Were people turning into pokemon common? Well, there was time to figure that out later. As he looked up at the sky, he could already see stars out. It was getting late, and he needed to get home. He quickly piled all the books back on top of each other, and picked them up. They still towered over his head, but they felt much lighter. It made sense, this body was in all likeliness much stronger than what he had five minutes ago.

He was about halfway home before he got his next distraction of someone shouting at him.

"A wild Lucario, in the middle of town? Pokeball go!" A youth, dressed in a pair of jeans, a shirt and a jacket had shouted, before throwing a red and white pokeball at Dave.

Dave gave a shout of surprise, dropping the books in process, and one fell between him and the pokeball just in time to block it.

"Wait, whoa! It's just me!" Dave shouted back at the youth. "Don't throw anymore of those!"

"Huh, those growls." The youth stared. "So, you're looking for a fight them! Well bring it on, I know your weakness. " The boy tossed out another pokeball, though this one struck the ground at his feet, and a moment later a horse surrounded by flames appeared in a flash of light. "Rapidash I choose you!"

"Ah!" Dave had an idea, the trainer might not understand him, but there was the pokemon. "Wait, don't fight! I'm not trying to fight! I'm really a human! I mean, I know I don't look like one, but you see the thing is there was this clefairy, it was waggling its fingers and then there was this light and I suddenly had a metal spike in my chest!" Dave cried out.

"Relax." Rapidash spoke. "It sounds like you might have hit your head. Don't worry though, my master has two badges, you'll enjoy traveling with us."

"Rapidash! Use Fire Blast!" The trainer gave a cry, as the rapidash shaped its aura of flames around, before releasing a blast of fire from it.

"Whoa!" Dave dove to the side, landing on the dirt trail that acted as a road in the town. "Alright, fine, you want to play, let's play." Dave's eyes began to glow, as he felt energy form in his hands, A moment later, he hurled an Aura Sphere at the rapidash. The horse stumbled back, obviously severely hurt from the attack, but it hadn't gone down yet.

"Don't worry Rapidash, we just need to weaken it, not defeat it. Go ahead and use the Fury Attack!" The trainer cried, a moment later the rapidash started to charge.

"Why do you keep getting to make the first moves." Dave replied annoyed. "I'd like to make the opening move for once, his eyes glowed as he spoke, and he felt a sudden understanding of the Fury Attack. "This time, I'm moving first." With that, Dave used the move, Me First, to charge forward, strike at the rapidash five times with the spikes on the back of his hands. The rapidash gave a cry before stumbling back and fainting, and it's master called it back to its ball.

"Oh yeah!" Dave held up his hands in celebration. "How's that for a first time battler!" Of course, it wasn't like the trainer could understand him, but he felt the need to celebrate anyways, holding up one arm, and proceeding to do a small little dance. "Uh huh eh eh uh eh eh uh eh!"

"Grrr." The trainer spoke, before pulling out a handful of pokeballs. "What a strange creature, but I must have it!" With that, he proceeded to throw all of the pokeballs he had at Dave.

"Ah! Gah! No fair! I won!" Dave cried, holding his hands above his head to shield himself as he ran in circles trying to avoid the balls. This didn't do much good, as one of the balls struck him square in the face, emitted a red light, and he suddenly felt a lot smaller, as he was sucked inside of the ball. The ball landed on the ground.

It wobbled once.

Twice.

Thrice.

Then, it bursts open, as Dave escaped from the ball, and was back to full size.

"Argh, almost had it!" The trainer shouted, before reaching into its pocket, only to come out empty handed. "Out of balls, and out of pokemon!?"

"If you only had one pokemon how the heck did you get two badges?" Dave inquired, but of course the guy couldn't understand him, and a moment later, the trainer fell over and fainted. "Well, okay then, I'm gonna be, just going now." Dave started to pick up his books once again, and then stopped.

He was having the thoughts!

He couldn't exactly talk to people now, so events like what happened with that trainer could become very common place very easily were he to stick around. He could still write so he could use that to communicate with his parents, let him know what happened.

And then be grounded for all of eternity, and having already proven he can write still be stuck with a year's worth of homework.

On the other hand, he was a species capable of surviving in some pretty harsh environments comfortably, and fighting against that trainer had actually been pretty fun. Sure, a human kid was too young to be going on an adventure by himself, but he might be just the right age for a Lucario to go off on an adventure. Hunger shouldn't be too hard to handle, there were plenty of wild berries growing along the road of trails, and he could always try to outsmart a trainer and steal their lunchbox.

Okay that last part was just juvenile, but he had to have a backup plan.

Still, it was a long day, he had no idea if his species was nocturnal or preferred daylight. Either way, he preferred daylight, and would rather set out in the morning. Still, where to sleep for the night. If he went back to his own bed, or just slept in a public place, he might wind up getting captured by a random trainer. The best option was the forest outside of town, it meant going through the tall grass again, but this time he figured he'd feel right at home.

Dave quickly dashed across town, being careful to avoid being seen by anyone. Was relatively easy when one considered the time of night. He got to the tall grass, and  took off across it. The grass went up to just above his waist. Just in there was probably a good place to sleep for smaller pokemon, he continued on till he arrived at the edge of the forest. This body, was still foreign to him, and he didn't want try running through a forest in the middle of night when he couldn't see. So, he picked the first tree he found, pulled himself up onto a branch, and laid back. His fur kept him pleasantly warm, there was no need for a blanket. Looking up, he could see the night sky. The sound of the wilderness completely surrounded him. The open sky, surrounded by nature, this life, this life would be enjoyable.

The next day, the first thing Dave did was fall out of the tree.

In his defense, upon first waking up, it took him a moment to remember that he was a Lucario, and not in his normal bed. He remembered this fact, right as he smacked into something... much softer than the ground.

"Ow!" A familiar high pitched voice shouted. "What was that for!?"

Dave looked down, at what he had landed on, and found he was currently sitting on the same exact clefairy from the other day.

"YOU!" Both of them cried out at the exact same time.

"What are you doing here!?" Dave asked, jumping to his feet.

"I was just foraging for breakfast!" The clefairy cried, picking itself up off the ground. "So, living in the wild now?"

"Well, it's not like I have much of a choice after what you did to me." Dave retorted, striking a pose for combat. "You're the one who wanted to fight, so should we finish things this time now that I can fight back!?"

"Uhhhh huh huh!" Clefairy smiled sheepishly, it was obvious not happy with how things had turned out. "It's just you know, how it works, humans go into tall grass, we attack, you should do that from now on and..." The clefairy twiddled its fingers, and prepared to use a move.

"Not this time." The move Dave had discovered he could use back against the Rapidash, Me First. He summoned its power now, and used the clefairy's move before it could. From what he understood, when he did this trick, his move would be at 150% the power of his opponent that he preempted.  He could end this in a single shot!

And then, he noticed the clefairy was getting bigger, as was the tall grass, which now reached up to his chest, and a moment later, his pants fell down around his ankles, letting his tail swing freely now. His shirt was going down to his ankles, and then to his paws, another second, and it was trailing on the ground.

"What's happening!?" Dave cried out.

"Well, I was about to use Minimize, to shrink down and run away." The clefairy replied.

And he had used it with 150% power, so how small would he get? He lost sight of the clefairy, as the grass soon reached above his head. His shirt fell to the ground completely, the neck hole now large enough to fit around his entire body. He was left entirely naked. His fur naturally covered him, but his quickly dwindling size made him feel a tad vulnerable. A few more moments, and he found himself sinking into his clothes that had been on the floor. He quickly started climbing to the top, rather than risk getting trapped beneath his old clothing, and managed to get on top of his shirt, right as his body stopped shrinking, leaving him around a mere inch tall.

"You're kinda cute now." The clefairy spoke, moving above Dave so he could see the giant pink monster. "You know, I think I might finish up that battle now after all. One quick pound ought to do it."

"No." Jake stood up on top of his shirt, he had had quite enough of this clefairy by now. "No, I think I'll end it here."

"What could you possibly..."

"AURA SPHERE!" Dave shouted, using one hand to throw a tiny Aura Sphere up at the clefairy. He had aimed at a specific target, and Aura Sphere never missed its target.

"MY EYE!?" Clefairy cried out. "Why would you do that! I mean that really stings!" The clefairy held a paw over its injured eye. "Okay, now I really am going to crush you just for that.

"AURA SPHERE!"

"MY OTHER EYE!" It's super effective. "I can't see! Why would you do that!?" The clefairy stomped around blindly, not being able to see, it was hoping to just step on and defeat the tiny Lucario. However, he was hopping around in the grass, proving to be quite evasive with his small size.

"Sorry, but I'm in a bad mood." Dave ran for the giant clefairy, then crouched low to the ground, and delivered one low kick to one giant clefairy leg. It was a good thing pokemon had superhuman strength, as in his shrunken form Dave was still above average strength in comparison to a human, and clefairies did not weigh all that much. So, with one kick from a small paw, he managed to trip the clefairy and send it hurling onto the ground. Luckily, fighting moves were super effective against normal type, and the Aura Spheres had already been damaging, so as the clefairy hit the ground, it fainted, marking the end of the battle.

"Ha. Ha." Dave stared at the clefairy, the body had almost landed on him when it fainted, missing by mere inches. Still, he felt more experienced after that fight. Who knew, maybe at this rate he could get to superhuman strength even at this small size.

Right his size!

When Pokemon used minimize, they got smaller, but they changed back to normal! So he should too now that the battle was over. Right! Right?

Nothing was happening.

Dave had two guesses as to why. His minimize had been 150% as powerful as a normal minimize so that could be why. More likely though, it had more to do with the fact that he didn't know the move minimize, so he had been able to copy it completely on accident, but had only copied it for that brief moment, and as a result didn't know the part of the move that involved changing back to normal.

Well, that was just great.

The tiny Lucario sat with its legs crossed on the ground, looking up around. The grass was like a forest. It would take him forever to get around here. Even individual blades of grass were thicker than him, and would take him probably an hour to climb to the top. He could likely travel to an area with shorter grass, but it would be mostly aimless wondering.

On the other hand, this was quite the chance for an adventure. Still, if there was a faster way to get around, it'd be nice.

Two Days Later

A pidgey landed beneath a tree in the forest, pecking at a few seeds that had spilled onto the ground. It wasn't one to turn down a free lunch, but it had no idea what was about to happen.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" It was a high pitched voice that startled the pidgey, and before it could react, it felt a very soft thud on its back. "Alright bird, I've caught you fair and square, I'm now your trainer, so you're going be my transportation from now on."

"You have got to be kidding." The pidgey asked. The voice, was so high pitched, but the cries were from a pokemon that shouldn't be native to the area. Maybe some bug type had gotten on its back. "I'll just take off now, and knock you off." It proceeded to do just that, taking into the air, however it felt a quick pain in the back, as something pulled on its feathers. None of its feathers were pulled out, but it realized whatever was on its back had a tight grip and wasn't going to let go.

"Oh come on it will be fun!" The voice spoke again. "We'll go on adventures, and you'll get to be famous for traveling with what will soon be a legend!"

"You are a rather undignified pokemon." The pidgey replied, doing a barrel roll, followed immediately by a loop in the air. However, its tiny rider still refused to let go.

"Look I don't have the means to get you to a pokemon center." The voice spoke. "So I'd really rather you just tire yourself out and surrender. You just need to be the transportation, I'll handle the fighting."

The pidgey figured whatever the little thing was, it must be insane, however as it twisted in the airs again, it suddenly felt another sharp pain, as one of its wings was forcefully pulled back. Nothing broke, but the result sent the pidgey spiraling out of control, and crash landing in the grass below. It hopped to its feet, slightly bruised but no worse for the wear, but relatively confused as to what had just happened. However, the pain on it back was gone, so maybe that meant the creature had fallen off.

"Now then." Apparently not, as the pidgey found itself quite confused, as a very small Lucario, completely free of its usual clothing, was now standing on its beak. "Don't you want to be part of a legend? The world's smallest pokemon, decides to take the gyms and the Elite Four on its own, without any trainer. Doesn't that sound exciting?"

The pidgey wasn't sure how to speak. The small creature, was delirious or something. Then again, it was seeing a tiny naked Lucario on its beak, so maybe it had gone insane too.

"And you just want transportation?" The pidgey finally asked.

"Of course! It takes be a bit to walk places, so I just need someone to carry me, and I've always wondered what it would be like to fly."

The pidgey considered, the tiny Lucario was talking, well if he had gone insane, might as well join the delusion. It beat fighting, plus it had to admit, it was rather curious about the little figure now.

"Well, I guess I can give you a ride, but never, touch the wings again." Was the pidgey's reply.

"Wouldn't dream of it." The tiny Lucario replied with a smile. "Now, I hear the first gym leader is a rock type.... So, I was thinking I might learn how to spin around like a drill and use the spikes on the back of my paws to pierce through it."

The little fellow was completely insane, but it was certainly going to be interesting to watch.
Ah ha ha.

Yeah all my previous writings have been CYOAs and gifts for other people and stuff.

So I wrote something for my own personal amusement.

You write a TF story with the title "A Wild Clefairy Appears" and it's about...
Lucario.
Cuz yea, we totally need more Lucario TFs out there! It's not like I was coming for a Clefairy TF or anything.
Ok sorry, I don't want to come off as mean spirited, but honestly. There are literally hundreds of Lucario TFs. You put a bit of an interesting spin on it, I'll give you that, but I just want a Clefairy TF...
Alright, sorry. I'll just read the other one, I guess.
