The camera pans over a sandy beach with a single dock.

A long time ago cruel and unusual experiments that seemed to defy the laws of science were performed in a lab on this island. Experiments to create a perfect being, but something went wrong, and everyone on the island vanished leaving only strange beasts behind. Rumors circulated on what had happened, but the truth itself had never been revealed until today.

Brave contestants have agreed to venture to this uncharted island to investigate its shorts and the abandoned lab. They'll be forced to work together and overcome obstacles, but at the same time be turned against each other in games as one by one each person is eliminated until only one remains. This one will win the ultimate prize and discovered the Secret of Moreau Island.

"Welcome to Moreau Island! I'm Dr. Maurice Ore, but call me Maury! Tonight!" The camera zooms in on a dock where a five tailed fox in a white suit and had stood holding a cane. "Ten strangers will meet for the first time on this island! They will compete to discover the secrets of this island! Form friendships, create enemies and maybe even one or two will learn to love? Eh, not likely! But we'll find out in just a few minutes as the boats will soon be arriving!"

"Um, hi?" There was a second kitsune standing next to Maury. He was a blue fox with three tails dressed in a blue jacket and pants. "This the place?"

"What, who are you!?" Maury asked. "Lurker! What's going on!?"

"One of the players sir." There was a tanuki dressed in all black standing directly behind the two now. He hadn't been there a moment ago but no one had actually seen him show up. "The boat arrived an hour ago."

"What?" Maury asked with a blank look on his face. "So, why wasn't I told and, cut to a commercial!"

We shall return after these messages.

Now back to the show.

"Well." Maury was standing on the dock speaking through gritted teeth. "Our contestants have arrived, so let's introduce them shall we?" First off, we have Corbyn Prower."

"That's me!" The blue kitsune spoke up.

"Yes, yes, just so you know I'm the only fox allowed to pull magical tricks on this show."  Maury spoke up.

"I wasn't planning...." Corbyn started.

"Yes yes moving on." Maury pushed Corbyn off screen. "Alright then, next up we have... Andrew Zhang."

"Hello." It was a young male human that was introduced this time. He wore glasses but was mostly average looking. "It's a pleasure to be here."

"A human?" Maury blinked. "Huh as few of you as there are walking around these days. Figure they're gonna declare you an endangered species any day. Man, some interest group is going to sue us after we're done with you."

"Wait, what does that mean?" Andrew asked.

"Nothing! Moving on!" Maury spoke. "Next up, a wolf, and possibly the only contestant who knows how to properly dress themselves, Roland Fischer."

"A pleasure really." A white and black wolf with a very fluffy tail spoke up. He wore dress pants and a matching coat over a shirt and a bow tie. "And I must agree, no one else on this island knows a thing about style."

"Don't push it." Maury grumbled. "Okay and we have up next, Kaevon Shiffiera."

"Greetings." Kaevon spoke up a feral fox with grey and white fur and feathered wings coming from his back.

"Huh, one tail, but wings. No one cares about tradition these days." Maury shook his head. "Moving on! We have Malena Delgado."

"Good afternoon." It was a brown furred female hedgehog that spoke dressed in a sweater and jeans.

"You're the only female on this show." Maury continued. "Enjoy your popularity. Some personal advice, don't read the fanfics."

"Wait what?" Malena asked.

"Next contestant!" Maury shouted. "Henry Rathford."

"Pleasure to meet you mates." A sparrowhawk in a long duster coat and an outback hat spoke up.

"Yes, yes you're foreign." Maury shrugged. "And then we also have Tyreese Henner."

"You might as well send everyone else home." It was a tailless dingo in a suit that spoke. "Because I'm going to win this."

"Yes you and nine others believe that right now." Maury shoved the dingo aside. "Next we have Chester Bluena."

"Hello!" A young light brown and purple fox cub with two tails entered.

"How old are you?" Maury asked.

"Twelve." Chester replied.

"I think you're a bit young, oh just move on, we're so getting sued. Well, as long as I get paid first." He turned back to introduce the next contestant. "And now we have a Frank Hightower! Frank? Frank?" He looked around trying to find the new contestant.

"Down here!" Standing only three and a half inches tall was a brown mouse in a blue coat.

"Somehow I suspect you're here because you cost less to feed." Maury shrugged. "And up last but not least, Dell."

"Saving the best for last I see." It was a brown furred deer with red hooves and tall antlers who stood proud and unclothed that spoke.

"Yes, yes you're very impressive." Maury continued. "Now then, we're a bit low on time so if we could all move on and get lost in the forest near here we'll get to our first challenge."

Everyone had assembled in clearing in the forest north of the beach. Maury stood dead center his hat lowered over his eyes as he waited for everyone to assemble. Several of the squirrel interns were running around, many of them throwing random objects at each other clearly agitated about something.

"Welcome to the first challenge." Maury spoke up. "I feel like I wouldn't be doing my job right if someone wasn't kicked off the island before they even had a chance to settle in from arriving. Now then, we were originally going to have a simple obstacle course set up here to compete in with a keycard as the prize. For those who didn't pay attention to the debriefing allow me to give an explanation. At the center of this island is Dr. Moreau's lab. On the bottom level of that lab is the prize you each seek. However, you won't be able to get to it unless you complete the experiments the doctor left in his lab, and you won't be able to complete those without the key cards hidden on the island. After finding the key card two of you will be forced to compete in an experiment and whoever loses leaves the island. Simple enough. One last detail, whoever gets the keycard wins immunity from participating in the experiment. Now, as I said we were supposed to have an obstacle course." Maury passed an annoyed look to the squirrels running around. "However, it seems due to the recent acorn shortage our interns are slightly upset and can't focus to put something together, one of them has the cardkey, but they're paid minimum wage they're not giving it up without getting something in return. So, you're going to have to scavenge the forest and find something to trade, I suggest you look harder for something than just getting some nuts from trees, they've stripped them all. I should also add that you have no way of knowing which squirrel has the card. They all have some prize for you to trade for, but you won't find out what until you trade for it. Don't worry, even if you don't score the jackpot no one walks away empty handed tonight. Well then, good luck. Lurker, assemble the squirrels with the items."

Lurker appeared holding a bell. He rang the bell once and ten squirrels lined up. Each of them held a box that was tied shut and had a death grip on the box to ensure no one would still their prize out from under them.

The game had begun.

The players split up in different directions each forming their own plan on the best thing to do. To the north there was a small stream that ran through the forest where the vegetation was thinner. Many wild animals came here to forage for food or water and it seemed a likely place to find something worth trading to the squirrels, at least that was the thinking of three of the players. Dell, Kaevon and Chester had all come to this section looking for an item to trade. Food seemed the safest bet since the squirrels were upset over the acorn shortage and this seemed the most likely place to find something.

Strangely enough there was some reason an abandoned fridge just standing on the river. All three acted at once making a mad dash for the fridge, sliding into each other in the process knocking the fridge over and all three landing in the actual stream getting soaked and not having gotten anything. However as the fridge was knocked over the doors opened and a single jar fell out. It was a jar of Nutella, it rolled into the stream stopping exactly between Kaevon and Chester. Both foxes got to their feet, looked at each other then looked at the jar of Nutella.

"Huh, is that Bigfoot?" Kaevon tilted his head quizzically and looked beyond Chester.

"Probably." Chester didn't even look, instead he just grabbed the jar of Nutella in his mouth and ran off.

"Hey! No fair!" Kaevon shouted. "You can't use me trying to distract you as a distraction!" However it was too late, the two tailed fox kit had already made off with the prize and was heading back to the clearing. Kaevon and Dell were left to search up and down the stream on their own for something else.

They went in opposite directions from there searching along the stream. Kaevon was the first one to come into luck. Just sitting washed up in the middle of the stream was in fact an acorn, but not just any acorn, a six inch tall shiny golden acorn! Well that was more likely to get him a decent trade than anything else! He ran up to grab it only for a small normal non-intern squirrel to run down snag it and run off into the forest.

"Get back here I need that!" The winged fox chased after the squirrel.

Dell meanwhile was searching elsewhere by the stream. He opened the fridge to see if maybe there was another jar of Nutella in there, sadly it was completely empty. How did a fridge get in the middle of the forest anyway?

Meanwhile in the Confession Booth

Several of the squirrel interns have crowded into the booth where they were busy tying bottle rockets to a microwave. One of them looked at the camera, realized it was on and lit a bottle rocket and fired it at the camera before the scene went to static.

Back in the forest.

Kaevon was still chasing after the squirrel with the golden acorn only for it to run up the side of a tree onto a high branch and set the acorn there. It shook its paw at Kaevon then stuck its tongue out.

"Um." Kaevon flapped his wings taking off into the air and grabbed the acorn in his mouth. "Wings." With that he started to fly back towards the original forest clearing having secured his item. However, the golden acorn had a strange taste to it, he felt a strange tingling as he held it. HIs fur turned completely brown as he held it, his body shifted positions to be more balanced on two legs than four, his muzzle became shorter, his tail bushier. He had turned into an anthro squirrel! The worst part was the part where his wings vanished, while he was still airborne. "BUGGERY!" He gave a shout as he fell back torwards the woods.

Dell meanwhile wasn't having much luck, there didn't seem to be much more by the stream, not one to give up yet he decided for now to gather some berries from some of the bushes. They weren't exactly fancy but if the squirrels were hungry enough he could make a trade. With that he started to head back.

While all this was going on, others had worked their way east, specifically Malena the hedgehog and Roland the wolf. They had come across a large field of flowers. The entire area was filled with a pleasant aroma, but there was no escaping something felt off about the field. Both of them looked around the field looking for signs of well anything. Malena's eyes were sharper. While mostly just flowers there were a few small trees scattered around. One of them bore a single fruit on it. It was a strange fruit, it looked a bit like a strawberry being ruby in color but was more heart shaped, either way she wasted no time in snatching it and heading back. However, as she was leaving she felt strange, it was hard to explain. Maybe the pollen from the flowers were bothering her a bit but something felt off, also felt maybe even a little better, and more energetic. It wasn't until she was outside the field of flowers she realized what it was. Her clothes were just a tad looser and her fur a tad brighter. She was younger, looking over herself quite a bit younger too! She had dropped eleven years off back to the prime age of 21! Well, considering the nature of the game that wasn't entirely to be unexpected, but it had still caught her off guard, still she could live with this. She bursts into a sprint heading back for the clearing.

Roland was having a harder time. Aside from the one fruit Malena had already snagged there didn't seem to be much here outside flowers. The worst part was he was feeling rather light headed about the entire thing, something didn't set right. It was then he noticed his clothes had become considerably looser on him. His shoes came right off his paws as he took a few steps and his bowtie was dangling from his neck. It only got worse from there as his pants fell down completely around his ankles, and looking at himself he realized what was going on! He was smaller, but not just that his features were softer, his muscle tone less defined, he was younger! He had already dropped back to his early teenage years and was getting even younger! He struggled to move forward, tripping over his pants and falling face first into the flowers.  As he did he landed staring straight at a rather strange flower. It was different from the others, a white flower with the buds hanging upside down and seemed to glow. It was certainly pretty. Not wanting to waste anymore time he grabbed the flower and jumped to his feet. It would have to do. He bolted abandoning his pants just wanting to get out of the field of flowers growing younger by the second. By the time he reached the edge of the flower field he was a mere wolf cub just under seven and a half. His jacket and shirt were down to his knees giving him some modesty, but exiting the area didn't reverse any of the changes. He signed, heading back for now not sure what to make of his newfound youth.

To the west of the clearing was a much dark and foreboding forest, full of thorns, thick vegetation and vines covering everything. Three of the contestants had come here, Andrew the human, Frank the mouse and Corbyn the three tailed fox. The forest was so thick it was difficult to move through, for two of them at least.

Frank being quite a bit smaller was easily able to move through the underbrush of the forest without getting caught on any thorns or branches. He was looking for nuts, berries anything that he could trade as food. What he had not been expecting to find was a large glass jar of processed peanuts half buried in leaves. What were the odds of something like that being here? Or for that matter why were they here?

Meanwhile, in the confessions booth.

Several of the squirrel interns sat in the booth, one of them had a stick that he was pointing to a picture of the mess hall that had been pinned up. There were several Xs and Os written on the paper that he pointed to then turned to the other squirrels. One of them held up a bottle rocket to which he shook his head, a moment later said squirrel put away the bottle rocket and pulled out a rocket launcher. At that all the squirrels burst into cheers and ran out of the confessions booth.

Back in the dark woods.

Frank shrugged, and grabbed the jar. It was bigger than him and was going to be hard to lug back, but as long as he was careful he'd be able to get back without any problems.

Andrew and Corbyn meanwhile were having a much more difficult time. The branches and thorns in the forest tore at their clothes, both receiving several scratches from the endeavor. Andrew had the advantage of not having three tails to get caught up in all the vegetation though so was able to make quite a bit more progress. Pushing ahead Andrew stumbled through the forest and purely by accident tripped over a log and stumbled into a cave that had been hidden behind overhanging moss. It was dark, nearly impossible to see but something glinted in the cave. Moving towards it, he found there were actually quite a few glints, and then realized what he had found. Gemstones! Not just that, gold coins, silver amulets all kinds of things. Well, this was more than enough to trade. He started shoving as much of the treasure in his pockets as he could. He could probably not only trade with the squirrels but have a small fortune when he got off the island, to think this had been here undefended!

"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!" Some kind of beast from deeper within the cave let out a blood curling roar. The treasure wasn't undefended.

Andrew made the wise decision that he had enough, backed away from the treasure while moving to exit, but tripped over a golden scepter falling back onto his bottom. The beast emerged from the cave of the shadows and appeared before him! It was, a lot smaller than he expected, and fluffy, and a rabbit. Yes, the ferocious guardian of this treasure as just a small white rabbit.

"Oh." Andrew smiled. "You scared me half to death little guy." He bent down to pat the rabbit, only for it to jump up and bite into his arm latching on. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!" Andrew ran out of the cave screaming the rabbit still clinging to his arm.

Outside Corbyn was having much less luck searching for an item only to be confused as he heard a roar, and then saw Andrew run past him screaming. That was disheartening. He himself hadn't found anything yet. He really wished he had a machete to cut through some of these vines. As many thorns as he had gotten caught in his tail he was worried he might have a bald spot after pulling them out. An over exaggeration perhaps, but this place sucked. He finally decided it was time to give up and go search another area, turned around and came face to face with a treasure chest just sitting in the middle of the woods.

"Okay, I'll take it." He walked up to the chest and opened it. Empty. However, it was a very nice chest. He thought for a moment, then grabbed the side of the chest and started dragging it. What squirrel wouldn't want a giant chest to store their nuts in for winter? It was better than coming back empty handed.

While this was going on the last two remaining players had headed south from the forest clearing back towards the beach. Tyreese the dingo and Henry the sparrow hawk. Before them, just miles of sand.

"Well, I'm sure this won't take forever." Henry spoke. "Don't suppose you have a metal detector mate?"

Tyreese just ignored the idea, and took to searching.

Combing the beach was a lengthy process, but not one with a lot of risk involved so it was at least an easy hunt. Henry was actually the first one to find something of use. He had been walking th shoreline looking at shells, hoping maybe he could find a conch or something fancy enough that the squirrel might trade for it. What he found though, was worth far more than that, an oyster shell, and not an empty one at that. Not wasting time he took off back for the clearing with his prize leaving Tyreese to explore the remainder of the beach himself.

Tyreese grumbled, he had expected the challenges to be a bit more engaging than picking through the sand. Though wait, something was sticking out in the sand. A wallet? He picked it up and looked at it. The driver's license in it showed a tanuki in the photo ID, but the name was written in strange characters so he couldn't make it out. Either way, there were a few hundred dollars of cash in it, more than enough to bribe a squirrel. Actually way more than enough, he made a few corrections and ensured there were only about ten dollars worth of cash in the wallet before heading back to the clearing.

Back to the show.

"So anyway that's why they kicked me out of Atlantis, but as you know I had the last laugh there, wait are we back!?" Maury had been talking to Lurker in the forest clearing as the show returned. "Uh, right then! So, any minute now our contestants should be returning to exchange their items from the hunt for the prize, so let's wait to see who arrives first. Any minute now. Here they come. They do remember how to get back right?"

It was at that point that the first player returned from the forest. Malena had made it back first with the fruit clutched in hands. She made her way over to the squirrels as they jumped around trying to figure out which one to talk to and managed to grab one by the tail to get their attention.

"Here." She offered it the fruit. "Now, may I get your treasure?" The squirrel looked at her then to the fruit before snatching it dropping the box and scurrying off as fast as possible. "Thanks." Malena opened the box and was disappointed not to find the keycard she was looking for. Instead, there was just a spray bottle with enough water in it for one last squirt. Not exactly a grand prize, though it might come in handy if she ever needed to discipline a housecat.

Frank was the next player to return, the mouse walked in dragging the jar of peanuts behind him. As soon as he arrived every squirrel dropped what they were doing to stare enviously at the peanuts before he finally pointed to one.

"You, I don't suppose you'd consider a trade?" Before Frank had even finished asking the question a squirrel had tossed him a box and ran off with his peanuts. He opened the box not sure what to expect, only to find a pair of very tiny sunglasses. To tiny to even fit him, they fit in the palm of his hand easily. Whoever these had belonged to had to be very tiny indeed.

Less than a minute later the two tailed fox kit Chester came bounding in carrying the jar of Nutella in his mouth. He didn't even get into the clearing before one of the squirrels had stolen off with it.

"Hey! I thought I was supposed to get a box!" He cried out after it was taken only for a sheepish squirrel to run back out and drop the box off. Chester opened the box the squirrel had left and  inside found, a slice of cake! Chester didn't waste any time devouring  the cake, but as he did felt a strange sensation. One of his tails shrank away into nothing as his body length felt longer in proportion to himself but seemed to get shorter. He found himself forced onto two legs as his ears rounded out and he changed into an anthro ferret!

Henry was along only moments later with the oyster he had found. The squirrels didn't quite react as strongly to this as the food items, but it was certainly shiny enough and he was able to coax one of the squirrels into trading with him, what he got was a rather strange object, a glass orb filled with some kind of mist, definitely not the prize he needed, but it certainly looked interesting and might do something later.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The peaceful tranquility of the forest was broken by the now squirrelified Kaevon falling from the sky crashing into the clearing as the golden acorn landed on top of him. One of the squirrels ran up and swapped their box for the acorn before Kaevon was able to pick himself up, and climb up wobbly to two legs. A bipedal stance was weird, how did people deal with only two legs? He shook his head to clear the stars circling around him and opened the box. Inside was a set of car keys. He had no idea to what type of car or to who's card. They were keys, but not the one he needed. Well, it was nice to know he had risked breaking every bone in his body by falling from twenty feet up for nothing.

Tyreese returned shortly after that with the wallet in hand wasting no times finding one of the squirrels to trade with giving it the wallet for the box the squirrel had.

"Wait, that!" Lurker started to shout from where he was seeing the wallet handed off, but the squirrel had already run off with it. "No." Lurker sighed.

Tyreese opened the box and immediately a cloud of smoke erupted from the box. He coughed a few times until the smoke cleared but once it was gone he could see the box itself was completely empty. Yet, something felt off. He scratched one of his ears to discover that it was quite a bit longer than it should have been, and he seemed to have a tail again despite the fact his had been lost, and it was thicker than it should have been. His fur color was the same, but his body was shaped different, it took him a few moments to figure out what had happened, he had been transformed into a kangaroo!

"Get it off!" What little serenity there was in the clearing was broken as Andrew ran into the clearing the rabbit he encountered in the cave still biting into his arm. "It's trying to eat me!" He swung his arms around wildly trying to get the bunny rabbit off. Finally, he succeeded as the rabbit was flung high into the air disappearing as a twinkle in the sky. "Oh thank goodness." Andrew sighed, he was done with bunnies now after that.

SPROING!

Andrew's ears had suddenly shot straight up stretching out and then flopped right over his head and were now completely covered in white fur. He moved the eyes out of his face and they flopped over his back instead, they were quite long on him, and it didn't help his body was getting shorter while the ears stayed the same length.  White fur meanwhile grew in over his entire face, then spread down his neck and chest aiming to cover his entire body. As it covered his legs he felt his weight shift to accommodate a new position as the shape of his legs completely changed. His feet were had less toes and were in the shape  of paws now and his actual legs resembled the hind legs of a rabbit. This did have the slight side effect of completely destroying his footwear and pants, as well as spilling out the treasures he had been carrying in his pockets. His entire body had become a bit smaller and shorter outside just the position of his legs and now he was left clothed in only his shirt which now went down to a bit below his waist. The ears that had originally grown out from him had not changed proportions with the rest of his body though and were now long enough that the very tips of them almost touched the ground.

"Ah!" The now bunny Andrew gave a shout, trying to pick up as much of the treasure as possible. He had been hoping to keep some of it but the cat was out of the bag. He managed to grab one silver amulet and put it on under his shirt to hide that, but before he could find a way to stow anymore one of the squirrels had already shown up snatching away the trinkets that had spilled out on the ground. He was instead left with just the box the squirrel had left. Opening it up, inside he found a ring and a piece of paper. The paper read:

'Wish of Limited Wishing. This ring has the power to grant any wish you make upon it, so long as the wish isn't for anything expensive, complicated, difficult to obtain, fantastic in anyway, or just would take longer than five minutes to get normally, however if it's something you could get out of a vending machine for a dollar this ring can get it.

Andrew blinked after reading the description and put the ring on, deciding to give it a try he wished for the keycard, but nothing appeared, then he tried wishing for whoever currently had the keycard to grow bunny ears so he could see who had it, and still nothing happened. So far, not that useful.

Roland was the next to appear, the wolf pup had seen better days having been dropped to less than half his original age, but he returned with a flower only to find most of the squirrels had already given up their prizes, was it too late? Had it been for nothing? He found the first squirrel he came across and offered the flower he had retrieved. The squirrel stared at it quizzically for a moment before finally making the trade. Roland opened the box and inside was the actual keycard. He had won the challenge, and as a result also won immunity.

"Well, something goes right." He muttered.

Second to last to return was Dell, the grand prize was gone, not that he had any way of knowing that, but there were still two squirrels left to choose from. After examining both of them trying to guess which was the best bet, he chose his squirrel and traded his berries and in exchange got a box with twenty feet of rope in it. Not even useful, at least not yet.

The last player to return was Corbyn. Unfortunately the path he had chosen had not been a friend to him and he was still pulling thorns out of his fur and tails and then having to drag the entire treasure chest back . It wasn't to surprising to finish last after that, but that didn't make it any less annoying.

"Alright then, I brought you a nice fancy chest." He spoke up to the last remaining squirrel. "So, give me the thing." The squirrel looked at the chest then to its own box. "Oh come on I went through a lot of work to drag this back!" The squirrel shrugged and made the trade inside the squirrel's box was a glass vial filled with a multicolored swirling mixture. It simply had a label on it that read true form.

"Well, that took long enough." Maury spoke up. "The sun has already started to set and there's still one to many of you on this island. So, if everyone will follow me we'll head up to the lab and begin the first experimentation stage.

There was a path leading through the center of the forest that was easy to navigate and it only took a few minutes for everyone to assemble in front of the lab. The lab itself looked ancient but was in good condition outside the rust covering the metal walls. There were four towers surrounding the structure each with a searchlight atop of it, but the lights themselves were off this evening their bulbs having likely not having been replaced in years. Before the lab there was an enormous gate with the numbers 01 painted on it in large white lettering. To the left and right of the gate there were five doors on either side. The doors slid open revealing a small room inside in the shape of a ten foot square. Inside was a strange machine with ten levers on it, a television screen above them and a card slot below them.

"Allow me to explain." Maury spoke up. "The gate you see before you cannot be opened unless we complete one of the lab's experiments, to do that we must first determine who is going to participate in the experiment. All ten of you will each enter your own private voting room, you may pick any that you like. Once all ten of you are inside the doors will shut. You may each notice a small slit below the levers. Whoever has the keycard has to enter it into that slot. Once that happens, well the rest will be explained then."

The players all looked around, they had a few minutes to discuss any arrangements or deals they wanted to make, but soon each of them had entered their own voting room. The wolf pup Roland was the one who currently held the keycard. After the door had shut he inserted the card into the slot and the television lit up.

"Welcome." A distorted voice spoke up as the a blurred image came on the screen. "I am Dr. Moreau, or should  say what is left. If you are hearing this message then you have chosen to continue the experiments I left behind. Perhaps you seek something within my lab and have no qualms about what harm comes to those around you as a result? Either way, once the program has started it cannot be stopped. Until the experiment is completed these doors will not open. You should see ten levers before you. Each of those levers represents a player in another of the rooms."

As he spoke up lights came on next to each lever. Each light that lit up displayed the first name of one of the contestants on it.

"Of course, for the one who triggered the experiment, they win a special boon." The doctor continued speaking and as he did in everyone's room the light for Roland's name went dark as there was an audible click and his lever locked in place. Roland had immunity and none could vote for him in this game. "The rules are simple, you must pull two levers representing two of your companions. The two with the most votes will be taken to the experiment room to compete. I am sure you are already aware that only one will return from the experiment, the other will be banished from my island and never return.  Think carefully, after all at least one of the people you vote for may return and hold a grudge, but ah, the voting is secret, so there's no possible way for your friend to know that you betrayed them. Do what you will with this information, the time to cast your vote has come." The voice fell silent but the blurred image remained on the screen waiting for the players to make their votes.
