In some timelines, the area was never developed, in others, it may be another plane of existence, and in even others, it may be in outer space. Regardless of the ‘verse, this doesn’t stop the phenomenon known as a Reality Shift. This event is caused by the barrier between realities being so thin in Switch City that a person can easily slip between one reality and another without ever realizing it had happened. There is no limit or rules as to what kind of realities one can slip into. They might slip into a reality that is nearly identical to the one they left.
